Build-a-Ball with Super Panda Stix
Build-a-Ball can be used with our new Super Panda Stix. Each ball has 5 holes for your Super Panda Stix

They can be used to make a variety of structures.

For fruit cages just get your super Panda Stix and push them into the ground 9-12 inches, put your build-a-balls on top and join together with more Super Panda Stix, cover with netting or mesh.



The same method can be used for strawberry cages to protect from
birds or to make
cloche frames.
For low structures you may only need to allow 3 to 6 inches in the ground.
There are so many ideas

• A ridge frame can be made for your runner beans
• make a fence structure to support a row of plants.
• a frame around your pond
  

So plan your structure and buy the required amount of Balls and Super Panda Stix

Build-a-Balls are 4 for £5

For thick Panda Stix- we have used Yorkshire plumbing fittings and cable cleats. Just heat up the end of a Panda Stix with a hot-air gun and insert into the plumbing fitting and hold until it sets. The joint can be made permanent by pinning or if the fitting has an internal screw-thread your Panda Stix will now be able to be unscrewed easily for manouverability.

We used this method to make the Panda Stix poster frames seen at many a garden show.

Remember all Panda Stix can be cut to length with anvil secateurs or tree loppers, or a hacksaw on-site to your exact requirements.

Another idea for Pond Frames

Why not use the new Ringmaster widget with thin or thick Panda Stix to make a frame round your pond. Whether for netting or to befuddle heron this may provide the solution. Put your Panda Stix around your pond- put a widget on each one- attach the plastic loop through the widgets. This can be used for any shape pond and for any height- just choose your Stix to suit.

Looking for Panda Chums?

The supplier has changed the formulation making them very stiff, unflexible and difficult to fit on thin Panda Stix. They can be fitted on but you need to sharpen your thin Panda Stix with a pencil sharpener. So you can still make mini-fruit cages and pond frames.
